Down with bullies! French broom is an aggressive weed taking space, sunlight and water from a rich array of native species. Broom is a fire hazard and also alters the soil chemistry. Join MMWD for an invigorating Saturday morning removing this invasive plant. Volunteers ages 8 and up are welcome. Participants under age 16 will need a parent or guardian present.

Meet on Phoenix Lake Dam. The gate at Natalie Coffin Greene Park in Ross will be open until 9a.m. to allow cars to drive up and park next to the dam.
