Meet at the end of Taylor Road in Tiburon. Join rangers for a rare chance to view a solar eclipse from Ring Mountain. This is the first solar eclipse visible across the entire continental United States since 1979 and the last until 2024. Learn how to make a solar eclipse viewer and find out some of the fun facts about the solar eclipse. This easy to moderate event is ideal for all ages. Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes. Don’t forget to bring your camera. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. High fire danger cancels: call (415) 473-7191 to get an update on fire danger status and land closures. Questions: Contact Ranger Mike Warner at (415) 473-2816.
