We’ll pull French broom, small acacias, non-native blackberries and fennel. We’ll supply weed wrenches and some tools, but bring your favorite clippers, pruning saws, and shovels. Dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes and heavy gloves, and bring a drinking water container. Meet on Meadowood where it crosses Larkspur Creek. Heavy rain cancels. Sprinkle or shine, meet your friends and family at Marin Stables for a day of habitat restoration with MMWD. Have a fun morning pulling broom and then enjoy Cowboy Chili with all the fixin’s at noon! Meet at Marin Stables, end of Wood Lane, off Porteous Avenue in Fairfax. Everyone ages 8 and up is welcome.
