Per the Road and Trail Management Plan approved in December 2014, Marin County Parks is hosting a series of community workshops to solicit input on proposed formal road and trail designations in Marin County open space preserves. The public is invited to share their thoughts at a Region 1 community workshop that will take place at the Mill Valley Community Center (180 Camino Alto). This region consists of six open space preserves including Blithedale Summit, Baltimore Canyon, King Mountain, Camino Alto, Horse Hill and Alto Bowl.
In the workshop, staff will review the following:
. Potential trail designations for preserves in Region 1, which include Blithedale Summit, Baltimore Canyon, King Mountain, Camino Alto, Horse Hill, and Alto Bowl. Staff will solicit input from the public on these designations.
. The baseline scores and criteria which are part of the next phase of the public process, which will allow members of the public to suggest changes to the proposed designated trail system.
. The proposal process, including the application form and timelines, and how this will be integrated into the RTMP and yearly planning process.
